Women Speaking Up is an independent podcast hosted by Leni Leth and Dr. Mary Contreras, based in California, United States. The show shares stories of triumph, courage, and renewal — real conversations with women who have done extraordinary things.

3. Guest Participation and Email Consent
3.1 Submitting a pitch
Our contact form allows you to submit a guest pitch for consideration. Submitting the form does not guarantee an invitation to appear on the podcast. We follow up with every person who submits a pitch by email.
3.2 Confirming your participation — email consent
Women Speaking Up obtains guest consent through email. When we invite you to appear on the podcast, we will send you an email outlining the terms of your appearance. When you reply confirming that you agree to appear on Women Speaking Up, that email confirmation constitutes your full, binding consent to:
Being recorded in audio format and, where applicable, video format
Your name, voice, likeness, image, and the story and information you share during recording being included in the published episode and show notes
Your episode being published and distributed on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and any other platforms we distribute on, now and in the future
Your name, photo (if provided), and episode details being shared on our website and social media channels for promotional purposes
Short clips, audiograms, or excerpts from your episode being used in future promotional and marketing content
Your email confirmation and all related correspondence is stored securely as your consent record.
3.3 No compensation
Your participation in Women Speaking Up is voluntary and unpaid. You will not receive any financial compensation, fee, or royalty for your appearance or for the use of your content.
3.4 Pre-publication review
We do not guarantee pre-publication review of your episode. On a case by case basis, and at our sole discretion, we may offer you the opportunity to listen to your episode before it is published. If you have concerns about how your story is represented, please contact us as early as possible at womenspeakinguppodcast@gmail.com.
3.5 No obligation to publish
Submitting a pitch or confirming your participation does not obligate us to record, publish, or retain any episode. We reserve the right to decline, postpone, edit, or remove any episode at our sole discretion.
4. Podcast Content and Intellectual Property
All original content produced by Women Speaking Up — including episodes, show notes, website copy, graphics, and branding — is the intellectual property of Women Speaking Up. This includes our name, logo, and brandmark.
You may share links to our episodes for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce or republish our content commercially without our written permission.
Guest stories are shared with the consent of each guest. Guests retain ownership of their own personal stories and lived experiences.
5. No Professional Advice
All content on Women Speaking Up is for informational and inspirational purposes only. Nothing we publish constitutes medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. The views of guests and hosts are personal and individual. Always consult a qualified professional for advice specific to your circumstances.

6. Sponsorships and Advertising
